This is my first book by this author.I liked Adonis and Adora The story is very graphic of what becomes of Adora when he mother wrongly accuses her of being interested in her man She is then left to fend for herself which leads her onto a downward spiral The story is very graphic, so if you have triggers around drugs and sex for money then it may be best to avoid this book.I was very disappointed in the way the book ended I felt this story could have been told in one book instead of creating a c [...]
DisappointedTo be honest when I first started reading this book I was a bit apprehensive and struggled to get through the first chapter Not because it wasn t interesting but just because the first chapter didn t sit well with me But after pushing through and getting past those parts I finally started to enjoy the book I felt the heroine s pain After seeing her go through all of that here I was thinking she was finally getting her break at life only to have the author end the book on a cliff hang [...]
Good read This was an intersting read Adora was handed a terrible life from an earlier age because of the actions she made to try and better her life just followed ber even after trying to change Now because of that same life she is running because of love she dont want it to affect Adonis life or career.
Could be I really enjoyed her struggle and down fall The way Stacey use her and got her hooked on drugs and when the opportunity came she lossss loved it stupid b I felt Adonis loss his control to fast and way b4 his breakdown Family drama a plus with the ex s past.Hated the nicknamesStoryline just needed dominance aspect
What can I say.I m sure that this is a good read, but in all honesty I couldn t get into it because the editing SUCKS Unnecessary descriptions Example He stuck his key in the door and turned it He heard a click and opened the door Just all around poor editing I would love to read this and give another review once it has been properly edited.
EhhhThere were a lot of grammatical errors which made it hard to read through an entire paragraph without having to reread a portion of it Characters changed names every other chapter which was confusing and made the story hard to follow because there was no understanding as to why their names changed It could have been a great story just not very well edited.
This was my first time reading this author and I loved it It was a well written book and I can t wait for the next installment I finished this book in one sitting, it was that good For book 2 please murder the country pimp and Gordon.
